1. What should I expect from the workshops?

A: Streaming technology can start sessions 60-90 seconds early to help with latency and lagging.

Come to each workshop a few minutes early. Also, make sure you pay attention to the time zone.

This workshop may last 60-90 minutes.

For example, If a workshop starts at 5:00PM CST, make sure you click on the link and arrive at 4:58PM CST.

B: The workshops can seem intense. Here is the format of the workshops:

Introduction (1-3 minutes)

Quiet Assessment (12-15 minutes)

Review (30-60 minutes)

2. Do you travel to churches or schools to host in-person workshops?

Yes. Before you reach out, please make sure your pastor or principal is actually interested. After your pastor/principal is interested in hosting the workshops, tell them/their assistant to send a direct phone number to info@RobertHurtOnline.com.

Then, gather parents to get behind the efforts. We must have at least 25 signups 14 days before the projected workshop date. Feel free to reach out at info@RobertHurtOnline.com so I can send you a graphic to market to parents and teachers in the area.

3. Do you host virtual workshops for local classes at high schools?

Yes. If a principal has contractual threshold to purchase a $500 virtual workshop, they can send an email to info@RobertHurtOnline.com to finalize the contract and schedule the 90-minute virtual workshop. The maximum number of students in any single workshop is 100 students.

4. Will you host a Professional Development for the teachers at my high school? If so, what comes with that?

Yes. A Professional Development workshop from Robert Hurt Solutions equips educators to create their own ACT Math assessments and facilitate their own workshops to produce ACT Math score increases on demand. Teachers are challenged to verbally engage in each section to increase retention and comprehension.

6. How old do I have to be to sign up?

Parents are required to register their child(ren). It is recommended that student(s) be at least in the 5th grade.

7. What fundamental classes should I know for these workshops?

Students should know 5th grade mathematics at bare minimum. Some topics require more background knowledge; free prep at this scale will never hurt a student who will take notes.

8. Are these classes virtual?

Yes. All workshops offered in this program are virtual. For in-person services, please refer to question "Do you host virtual workshops for local classes at high schools?" above.
